I believe that in both our personal and professional lives, leadership generates outcomes, determines culture, defines environments and facilitates lasting change.

My work seeks to interrogate the approaches to how we lead ourselves, how we lead others and how we are led.

Throughout my career, my roles have included serving as the inaugural Chair at Jacaranda Books, an award-winning independent publisher, having previously been the Finance Officer. I initiated-in-earnest the multi-agency local authority strategy, ‘Improving Outcomes for Young Black Men’ in the London Borough of Hackney and through this work became a founding trustee of an award-winning education charity, Class 13.

I am a qualified LuminaSpark Practitioner and alum of the Newton Venture Program. I have delivered tailored leadership training sessions and served as an advisor or project lead for various non-profit organisations, including Barnardo’s, Social Finance and Young Brent Foundation. I have been invited to participate in working groups at US Embassy London and the House of Lords. I was invited to speak at the Local Government Association and African Caribbean Education Network conferences and invited to contribute to the ‘Furloughed under-30’ report undertaken during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. I was formerly a Business Manager at Wayra UK (Telefonica UK’s startup accelerator).
